Wedding Michael & Sonia. White Plains, NY

January 18, 2018

Couples always ask me What Happens if it rains or snow on Their wedding day? I always answer that for me, people make the weddings, They bring their cultural backgrounds and traditions , Families, personalities, vision and sense of style to the wedding day and that is what I like to make pictures of! The weather presents some challenges to the flow of the day and limits where and when we can go but unfortunately there is not much we can do about it! what is important is to try and Enjoy the  day for what it is, have a good time with friends and family, celebrate love and make the best of it! the images will reflect this and will bring great memories for generations. That day  Sonia saw and experienced snow for the first time on her life ! Michael loves the snow and practices snowboarding regularly, so naturally they were both very excited that the forecast for the day marked the first snowstorm of the season in New York for their wedding day. The day started with  a quick ceremony at the White Plains court house, after that, We headed out to Kensico Dam plaza in White Plains N.Y to make what turn out to be a really fun photo session with the couple; Snow was falling hard during the portraits but they were real troopers and embraced the cold and we made some very romantic and fun images. Thank you so much again for the trust and patience that you gave me to make them possible! All this was  followed by an intimate dinner and Reception at their favorite Italian restaurant. Here are some of my favorite images from the day! Felicitaciones!
